In a Swedish massage the therapist uses techniques developed to relieve tension in the client's by encouraging blood flow, light stretching, and relaxing compressions. We recommend Swedish massage for first timers, seniors, and those who "just want to relax." If you've never received a massage before, this is probably the place to start!

The purpose of Swedish massage is not only to relax and soothe the entire body, but also to become aware of muscular imbalances. It is typically light to moderate pressure to promote circulation, flexibility, and of course to ease tension.
